*Clear mountain streams and highland lakes offer the adventurous fisherman outstanding sport with brookies, cutthroat and rainbow trout. Flyfishing is de rigueur on Swan River, and Swan Lake offers world-class pike and bull trout. Explore on your own or find your fishing adventure with an experienced local guide. The Swan Lake Day Park located 1/4 mile from the Lodge provides a boat launch and dock facilities for boating, fishing and jet skiing. Rental powered water vehicles may be delivered to Swan Lake for your enjoyment.

*Hiking, mountain biking or horse back riding the Swan and Mission Mountain ranges will be major highlights of your stay. Bring a camera  to the meadows of Lost Creek and be ready for black bear and grizzly, or Bond Creek for mountain goats. At the Oxbow Reserve spot a moose or a family of white tail deer. And of course, there's always Glacier National Park just a short drive away.

*Kayak the Swan River and get splashed by beaver or catch a glimpse of an elusive ermine searching for crayfish in the river mud. Paddlers may thrill to Class V high adventure on Swan River's Wild Mile or a relaxing paddle on Swan Lake. Easy to use sea kayaks are available at the Lodge.  Take a short walk to Morley's Canoe Shop, where Greg and his son Steve handcraft cedar canoes that are works of art as well as highly functional watercraft... but don't fall in love with one and expect delivery tomorrow... Greg's canoes are in such high demand, a two year wait is not unheard of!
