Going to the Sun Road and Scenic Hwy 83 – Offer the Best Views

Monday, April 27th, 2009

If you’re traveling between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park, consider taking the ‘road less traveled’ – Highway 83 from Clearwater Junction through Swan Lake and on to Bigfork. Tucked between the Swan Range and Mission Mountain Wilderness, Hwy 83 offers more spectacular, unspoiled nature than anywhere else in the lower 48, plus access to many easy trails allowing you the opportunity to stretch your legs and breathe in some clean Montana air. Stop by the Horse for trail information and a piece of freshly baked Huckleberry Peach Pie.
