I was searching for your site to recommend the lodge to a friend and see that you're doing your spring special again. We had so much fun and enjoyed the food so much last time, we're definitely in again. We just have to figure out which weekend and then will make our reservation. Looking forward to returning!

I stayed at your fine establishment the last of June, 2005, and have been raving about it to anyone who will listen ever since. I arrived on a Sunday evening and had your Prime Rib Fondue-Excellent, trumped only by the breakfast the next morning. Best pancakes I've ever had! I really enjoyed the conversation with you folks, and my wife and I will try to make it back up that way next summer. Thanks for the great food and hospitality!

Hey there horsey gals,

your traveling menu idea sounds scrumptuous! My daughter, (she is going to be studying culinary arts) and I are so looking forward to attending your evenings. We just returned from living in Puerto Rico, and so can't wait for your taste of the carribean. We came back to the Flathead a few days after the Haiti quake. We just missed flying through the DR. We were both really touched by your post, "Recipe of the day, Haitian canned milk w/cornmeal". People here have no idea what struggling to survive really means. Hope doesn't fill an empty belly, but it does give the heart something to tell the mind, and an empty mind is a frightening thing.

Anyway, kudos to you. We'll see you all soon.

Hi Kate,
Just back from Palau where Jim and I were speaking about having met you this summer while you shared your wonderful huckleberry and peach pancakes with us.
Did you spend anytime in the Bahamas? Did you know Ben Rose, Bert Yates?
Am not surprised to hear you trying to feed the children.
